LBAN Hosts Monthly Pitching Session with Special Guest, Minister Lex Delles
This month, the Luxembourg Business Angel Network (LBAN) held its regular pitching session, marking a particularly significant occasion with the presence of Luxembourg’s Minister of the Economy, Lex Delles. Minister Delles addressed the audience, emphasizing the critical role of early-stage companies in fostering economic growth.
The event began with a warm welcome from LBAN President Michel Rzonzef, who greeted members and partners while reflecting on key milestones from LBAN’s recent trajectory. He also shared updates on the ongoing Angel Academy, LBAN’s flagship training program for angel investors, now in its third cohort.
Romain Hoffmann, LBAN Board Director and Head of the Investment Committee, followed with an insightful presentation on LBAN’s investment processes, further enriching the session’s content.
As part of LBAN’s collaboration with the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, this pitching session was co-hosted with Luxembourg-City Incubator (LCI), forming part of the Reverse Pitch Series initiative. Through this partnership, startups from LCI were given the opportunity to pitch their companies for fundraising. Additionally, the session was open to other startups to observe and learn about the pitching process, equipping them with the knowledge to prepare for their future fundraising efforts. Five startups from LBAN’s deal flow pitched to investors, alongside pitches from LCI startups. The session sparked lively Q&A discussions after each presentation, making it a dynamic and engaging event.
As is tradition, the pitching session concluded with a networking cocktail, offering founders and investors the chance to deepen their connections and continue conversations initiated during the pitches.
LBAN’s pitching sessions are held monthly and are a cornerstone of the network’s efforts to support the entrepreneurial community. If you’re interested in joining LBAN or learning more about our activities, we invite you to get in touch and discover how you can get involved.
