These Terms & Conditions (together with the documents referred to in it) (the “Terms & Conditions”) set out the terms and conditions on which you may make use of our website www.lban.lu (the “Site”) as a visitor of the Site and/or as a member. Use of the Site includes accessing, browsing, downloading documents or registering to use the Site. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before you start using the Site, as these will apply to your use of the Site. By using the Site, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, you must not use the Site. 
The Site is intended for use by business or professional users in a B2B context. 
 
1. Other applicable terms 

These Terms & Conditions should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which also applies to your use of the Site. Our Privacy Policy sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us. 

In the context of the participation in the activities of the LBAN, the LBAN Member can access to the deal-flow platform provided by Dealum.

2. Information about us 

The Site is owned and operated by the Luxembourg Business Angel Network (“LBAN”), having its registered office at 7 Alcide Gasperi, Luxembourg L-2981, being the data controller. To contact LBAN, please email info@lban.lu.  
 
3. Accessing the Site 

The information on the Site is made available free of charge. 

LBAN makes every effort to ensure that you can access the Site at all times. However, in view of the technical hazards inherent in the Internet, LBAN cannot be held responsible if the Site is unavailable for any reason whatsoever.
We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue, maintain, or change all or any part of the Site without notice.

The Site is provided on as ‘as is’ basis and LBAN does not guarantee that the Site, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions. However, please note that any of the content on the Site may be out of date at any given time and LBAN is under no obligation to update it.

 
4. Intellectual property rights 

LBAN is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights on the Site, relating to content generated by LBAN. Those works are protected by intellectual property laws, including copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. 
You may print one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from the Site for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your organization to content posted on the Site.

LBAN’s status (and that of any identified contributors or Members) as the authors of content on the Site must always be acknowledged. 
Any commercial exploitation, in particular any downloading, copying, reproduction, distribution, transmission, broadcasting, adaptation, translation or representation, in whole or in part, of the Website or content of the Website, by any means or process now or in the future, without the prior written authorization of LBAN is prohibited and would constitute, in particular, a counterfeiting offence.
If you print, copy or download, any part of the Site in breach of these Terms & Conditions, your right to use the Site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made. 
 
5. Viruses 

LBAN does not guarantee that the Site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. 
You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs and platform in order to access the Site. You should use your own virus protection software. 
You must use the Internet responsibly, with respect and courtesy towards the rights of other Internet users or our rights or third parties’ rights.
In this respect, you, when accessing the Website, must not, in particular:
misuse the Site by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful.
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, the server on which the Site is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to the Site.
attack the Site via a denial-of-service (DOS) attack or a distributed denial-of service (DOS) attack.
submit false or misleading information.

If you fail to comply with any of the obligations under the Terms & Conditions, by using the Site for unlawful purposes, LBAN may suspend or prohibit access to the Site without prior notice.

LBAN will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them.

You may link to the Site provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage LBAN’s reputation or take advantage of it. You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on LBAN’s part where none exists. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection therewith shall be brought exclusively before the courts of Luxembourg.
